Stillkept terms of use

Last updated: October 18, 2026.

These terms apply together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). Where they differ, these terms add to it.

Your archive is yours

Stillkept copies photos and videos to storage you choose and control: your Google Drive accounts or a drive or network folder. Stillkept checks each copy against its checksum before treating it as archived, and shows you what failed. You are responsible for keeping that storage, including keeping your Google accounts active and your drives safe.

Keep more than one copy

After you delete items from Photos, the copies in your archive may be your only copies. We strongly recommend keeping a second copy of anything you cannot replace, on a different account or drive. Stillkept requires two copies while your iCloud storage is full.

Deletion

Stillkept only offers items whose copies were verified, and it asks you to review and confirm, and iOS asks again. Deleted items go to Photos' Recently Deleted for 30 days, except when your iCloud storage is full, in which case iOS removes them immediately.

Subscriptions

Stillkept Pro is available as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Restoring from your archive and deleting items that are already verified are always free.

No warranty, limitation of liability

As described in Apple's Standard EULA, Stillkept is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, including loss caused by third-party services such as Google Drive, by failure of a drive, or by deletion you confirmed.
